![]() To be honest the best way to buy parts is to simply purchase a complete, used hub. The yellow band sprocket/driving screw is interchangeable with the red band and it was only available in 18 tooth so that could help you if you are looking for higher gearing because the yellow band hubs usually are cheaper than the red band. The parts catalogs show there was a 19 tooth available as add on or swap out part but I have never seen one. The red band was available with either a 20 tooth or 18 sprocket/driving screw (all one piece part) so you have to break down the hub to change the gearing. If you have the 18 tooth you will have to make your changes to the front sprocket because that is as high as it goes. Count the number of teeth that are on your sprocket and see what you have. ![]() I have included a link to TR Findleys site where he has scanned the Bendix service manuals and they are an invaluable tool if you have one of those hubs. The kickbacks are not difficult to work on but it is difficult to find parts. I have rebuilt a number of Red, Yellow and Blue band 2-speeds. ![]()
